| [an error occurred while processing this directive] | Police BlotterChampaign: Police arrested a 15-year-old Bloomington, Ill., boy for possession of 63.2 grams of powder cocaine and 4.2 grams of cannabis at the 2100 block of West Springfeild Avenue on Sunday evening. According to a police report, the boy was a passenger in a car stopped for a traffic violation. A police dog was called to the stop and smelled drugs in the car. The car was searched and police found the drugs in the boy’s possession. The boy was taken to the Champaign County Youth Detention Center. The driver, a 27-year-old Urbana man, was given a traffic ticket and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, according to the report. Two 21-year-old Champaign men and a 19-year-old Champaign woman were battered at the 1000 block of South Locust Street early Sunday morning. According to a police report, the woman was knocked down by two unknown men who were fighting. The two Champaign men confronted the other men and were attacked and battered by them. The offenders could not be located by the police, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report. Police arrested a 14-year-old Urbana girl, a 14-year-old Champaign girl and a 22-year-old Champaign woman for retail theft at Gordmans, 1901 N. Market St., on Saturday night. According to a police report, the woman was given a notice to appear in court for retail theft and juvenile appointments were set for the girls. Urbana: A 29-year-old Urbana man reported his car stolen at the 700 block of East California Avenue Thursday night. According to a police report, the man let a 25-year-old woman borrow his car to go to the store. Five hours later the man reported the car stolen when the woman had not returned with the car. The man reported that he knows the woman and believes she is involved in drug activity. No arrests had been made at the time of the report. University: Police arrested a 19-year-old Champaign man for criminal trespass and criminal damage to state-supported property at Clark Hall on Saturday morning. According to a police report, building service workers reported that they found the man asleep on the floor inside the building wrapped in drapes which had been removed from the window.
